Mass Volunteers

- Liturgy/Sacraments

We are now open for Indoor mass on Sundays at 10am. We are continuing to ask for volunteers. Without volunteers for - Eucharist Ministers, Lectors, Usher Teams, Welcome/Hospitality, Cleaning/Sanitizing teams - trained and in place - we will not be able to continue masses. All volunteer teams must be trained in advance. Teams will be scheduled to cover at least 2 Sunday’s a month for the foreseeable future. It will take our entire community to come together for reopening.

Lector
Reponsible for:
- Reading at Mass
  - First Reading
  - Psalm
  - Second Reading
- Reading the Prayers of the Faithful
- Reading Announcements
Required Training:
- Safe environment with back ground check
- Covid safety training
- Lector experience/training
Eucharist Minister
Responsible for:
- Distibruitng Communion
Required Training:
- Safe environment with back ground check
- Covid safety training
- Eucharist Minister Training
Usher Team
Resposible for:
- Directing parishioners within the church
  - Seating
  - Communion
  - Exiting
- Montioring
  - Physical Distancing
  - Mask Mandates
- Emergency Procedures
Required Training:
- Safe environment with back ground check
- Covid safety training
- emergency spills/safety procedures

Welcome and Hospitality Team
Responsible for:
- Providing a welcoming atmosphere.
- Directing parishoners outside the church (both parking lot and at entrances).
- Assisting with check in requirements
- Providing assiatance for handicap or disabled parishoners
- Collection baskets
- Working together with the Usher Team
Required Training:
- Safe Environment with background check
- Covid Safety Training
- emergency spills/safety procedures

Cleaning/Sanitizing Team
Responsible for:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing all high touch areas
  - seating/pews/chairs
  - door handles
  - restrooms
- Clean and Put away check in table
- Outdoor Mass: assist with Set up and take down
  - chairs
  - tents
  - altar
  - other equipment
Required Training:
- Safe Environment with background check
- Covid Safety Training
- emergency spills/safety procedures
