Jesus said, "Whatever you do for the least of mine, you do for me."
Matthew 25:40
If you have a couple of hours on Thursdays, you are invited to join a wonderful group of parishioners to weed, seed, and harvest - all with the benefits of exercise, camaraderie and service!
Our Food Bank Garden was started in 1994 by Master Gardner Rita Kuklish and nine very willing parishioners. Through loving hard work, the garden has continued to "grow" over the years. The purpose of the garden is to provide fresh produce for the homeless and families who are without work. Our garden is the primary source of fresh vegetables for the Lakewood Area Food Bank. In 2023, we were able to provide the Food Bank with nearly 4000 pounds of nutritious produce!
