The Finance Council is the consultative body of three to five parishioners which conducts long-range financial planning; develops and oversees the budget process; provides a fiscal analysis of proposed parish goals, strategies, and programs; and is involved in fiscal evaluation, planning, and recommendations on the use of parish resources. The Council provides an annual review of the parish budget to the parishioners and a semi-annual report on the budget to the Parish Council. The Finance Council meets on the third Wednesday of every month.
The Liturgical Commission is the consultative body that is knowledgeable about Catholic worship and the liturgical life of the parish. Its members are responsible for assessing the spiritual needs of the parishioners. The Commission recommends to the pastor sacramental policies and practices consistent with the norms established by the archdiocese and the universal church. The Commission establishes policies, procedures, and budget for the parish's spiritual life; suggests strategies for spiritual and liturgical renewal; and develops and coordinates all liturgical celebrations. The Liturgical Commission meets on the first Wednesday of every month.
The Formation Commission is the consultative body focused on the personal and communal responsibility to the process of forming faith-filled Catholics. God calls each of us to an intimate relationship. In order to become more aware of that relationship and to better live it, the parishioners recognize the need for initial and on-going formation opportunities. Therefore, the Commission, in collaboration with the parish staff, formulates and recommends strategic plans and policies regarding the educational, formational, and evangelizing mission of the parish. The Formation Commission meets on the second Wednesday of every month.
